I love my Nuvem. I have already worn it twice, and had a non-knitter friend admire it, and then tell me that I should make her one for her next birthday. It is an easy knit, apart from the cast on which I botched, giving the interest design feature that can be clearly seen in the photo below.
Judy’s magic cast-on is meant to be invisible, but it quite visible the way that I did it. Perhaps next time I should try doing it when I can concentrate, and am not busy having people over for lunch?
One thing that I adore about my Nuvem is the size of the scarf – this is no skimpy shawlette. It can be worn a variety of ways, and uses a whole skein of Wollmeise Lace with only knitting and increases, no purling at all – what is not to love? So if you have a spare skein of Wollmeise Lace lying around, what are you waiting for?

Absolutely beautiful Ingrid and the colour looks amazing on you ! Wish it were mine
How lovely. I might, just might, have some lace weight yarn in my stash. I also like that your ruffles look less ruffly than in the pattern photo.
I love this so much! The colour is just divine and the style is fabulous! I have some wollmeise lace with “nuvem” written on it!
Perfect colour, and there’s just so much of it! It’s a real comfort shawl.
