I think it looks great. In fact, I like the overlapping front more than that on the model. And thanks for the sock yarn! It looks beautiful. Can’t wait to hear your account on the yarn shops in France.

I think as stated you will learn to love this as it really is beautiful although not what was expected. Sometimes after a little seperation the unexpected become gifts of greater experiences.

I’m sorry to hear about your experience, I have this pattern and was thinking of using Rowan Felted Tweed. Now I have to rethink this.

Creative Photoraphy can often wreak havoc with our expectations of garments The yarn is stunning so is the color. I love the asymertrical lines of your piece. You did a great job.
I am still looking for *that* site that shows real patterns on real people and not size 2 models that get pinned and tacked into a garment for *good cam* I am not a classic pear curve or bell shape. I am many shapes and like other knitters need to know as you now show – what this garment may look like on my frame. I wish more designers honestly showed real people in their patterns.
